The Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Pennsylvania Public Health Training Center are committed to offering the public health workforce an opportunity to receive ongoing training while networking with colleagues. In addition to outstanding workshops for you to choose from, we are especially pleased to announce that the Plenary Session will feature representatives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention who will address the federal government’s support to public health agencies in their quest to conform to national public health standards to improve the delivery and impact of public health services.
The Public Health Training Institute (PHTI), co-sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Pennsylvania Public Health Training Center, is a training event for health professionals across multiple disciplines and staffing levels.
Professional accreditation for physicians, nurses, health specialists, emergency response workers, school personnel and certified public health professional is pending. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™
